"Very little speed control otherwise."

However, for occasional home gamer use, the Wen is just fine. This belt sander is a good starter unit. 3M is a great company also, really like their tools. The platen is substantial but is probably not heat treated. Cord length is good, and it came with a second filing strip.

"Overall pretty happy with the tool."

However, for occasional home gamer use, the Wen is just fine. Plenty of power but lacks in many regards. Of course not, but it comes pretty close for a lot less. I am extremely pleased with this product. It will come with correct voltage and 3M manual.
