First Impressions

"All in all a nice unit."

And it is very hard to stop the belt with a large wood block. The rotating plate is basically useless to me. After returning the first one I received I got a decent sander. The disc has no visible run out on my unit and sands smoothly. The tables are nice and large being made from cast iron.

Norse BDSG2x6 Final Thoughts

"Is this thing ever a beast."

The motor is slightly overkill, but I like that. One interesting observation is the disc spins clockwise. I didn't time how long, but the heat might be an issue. I own a Norse, they are great. Machine speed is 1725 RPM and this works very well.
