I'm a gunsmith and this welder was made for me. Clean product, everything went as expected. I use a short cord into it, and don't over push it, and it does well. When I first opened it I got hit with that new welder smell, so good. Does make a nice puddle and slags reasonably well.

Bottom line if you are in the market for a arc welder, buy it! Does make a nice puddle and slags reasonably well. These weld really nice and the slag comes off pretty easy! When I first opened it I got hit with that new welder smell, so good. I also used a sturdier cotter pins to hold the rear wheels on.
