It is powerful and I like that it has variable speeds. The Sander looked like it was used for a huge project. It does not hold a ton but that's OK--it's a small sander. It could just be that some bolts are lose, but I'm not sure. I don't need to plug into my garage and work upstairs.

Spare belts are commonly available and easy to change. He must be happy for he has been in the shop for hours! The Skil really showed it mettle, though, removing stock. I use it with the shopvac so no problems with dustbag. At one point it began to not start when pulling switch.
