For small projects and working with small parts, this is the sander to get. The wheel does not have any wobble to it and is very flat. Needed to tighten a few screws, bolts, that should have been done at the factory. I'm building the historic wooden ship model. Really nice quality and super quiet operation.

It was boxed up like Fort Knox, not a scratch or dent anywhere. The wheel does not have any wobble to it and is very flat. Installing the break was simple and stopped the unit in a matter of a few seconds. The power switch also has a tab lock that works fine. Our worse, the wood doesn't but up flush to another piece.

I haven't checked the wheel for trueness, but its good enough for my uses. I bought this to take to work as the one there is available to any. If I blow it it's impossible to remove just one room and have it perfect. I lost my first one to Sandy and had to have another. I'm very impressed with this little machine.

I would not hesitate to recommend this sander. The miter gauge slides very precisely in its track. There priced between $25k to $125k, and I only make 1 a year. This sander has more than enough power for any material from soft wood to hard steel. Its built with a lot of cast iron & heavy duty parts, and as such it weighs a ton!

It is fine for course work, which is what really bought it for. Arrived well-packaged and came with everything needed to set it up right off the bat. Very much worth the extra price as it's obvious this unit will last years and years. I lost my first one to Sandy and had to have another. The table is a little stiff when your trying to adjust it up and down.

The rest is heavy cast iron and a very solid piece of equipment. It's a very heavy duty sander and its plenty powerful for my sanding needs. It takes a little time, but it is not that difficult to do. Quick delivery and works great Excellent disc sander, plenty of power. Without the brake it would wind down for minutes and it is pretty loud.
