It held up and kept up with the Bosch. Granted, if you need the full power, it will consume air. I hope the pad on this one lasts as long. Works great and very portable and handy for little areas. 4 stars because it doesn't hook to my shop vac.

The WEN 6502T was our favorite 6 Inch Disc Sanders. Nevertheless, there were a handful of other very high quality 6 Inch Disc Sanders we wanted to showcase here that barely missed first place.

Bosch is an additional leading manufacturer of Sanders. They make the tool next up on our lineup. Bosch's Random Orbital Sanders are one of their leading products. I was eager to have a go at the model 1250DEVS and I was not let down!

The Bosch 1250DEVS Random Orbital Sander, at $258.48 is an especially exceptional Sander for the money. The Bosch 1250DEVS is really a sound option. Of you are uncertain about our top selection, I would pick this Sander.

Aside from the selections we researched above, I would check out the Bosch 3727DEVSN and the 7346SP by PORTER-CABLE. Both Bosch and PORTER-CABLE are thought to be some of the premier makers of high quality Sanders. Both tools are rated highly as well. Real customers awarded the Bosch an average rating of 4.0/5 stars. Contrast that to the PORTER-CABLE 7346SP that boasts an average score of 4.3/5 stars.

The Bosch 3727DEVSN comes with several features you wont experience on competing Random Orbital Sanders. For example Sander/polisher design – with pad that both orbits and rotates, delivering a smooth, well-blended surface finish. The 7346SP by PORTER-CABLE although, is hard to beat with 4.5 Amp, ac Only plus Electronic variable-speed dial 2,500-6,800 OPM.

Each of these two options make a fantastic choice for someone whose in the market for 6 Inch Disc Sanders

It would be nice if the pads were commonly available. At the top end, it has a rich, powerful voice. It does have a slight orbital notion to it. Wonder if I could buff the mailbox with it. I have to reset the hose every few minutes.

Honorable Mentions

If the 6 Inch Disc Sanders mentioned above fail to meet your needs, we rated a variety of additional choices that may likely offer a better match. There really are a plenty of great choices on the market to buy. With meticulous research and testing, the tools we reviewed earlier are our favorites. That being said, these Sanders shown below deliver several special features and are all premium 6 Inch Disc Sanders.

The larger buffers are good for boats and trucks. The price is right and the tool works great. If dust bothers you, wear a filter mask. I really don't know why it sands so poorly. I did make some low spots on the table with that sander.

It held up and kept up with the Ingersoll-Rand. This feels and runs like a precision tool. Works as it should Works will in my shop. As for its sanding capability, it sands quite fast. I would say they have paid for themselves many times over.

The motor is slightly overkill, but I like that. I don't use this for wood use, I use it to sand plastic. I had another model before this and there was no comparison. First I think the factory provision for dust collection is poor. The tables are nice and large being made from cast iron.

I must have missed that in the description. Wow this bad boy eats bondo This is an exellent 8 inch da. It is very helpful and I have to say it is good deal. For the money I've never used a better sander. I have to reset the hose every few minutes.

I just wore out my second Goplus sander and bought a third. It is a pleasure to use, and does a great job. The rpm range runs from 5,000-10,000 rpm. 5 years but we literally run this thing into the ground. Prior to this, I was doing the polishing by hand.

It would be nice if the pads were commonly available. I may just not be emptying it soon enough. No need to pay double for the exact same performance. When I returned, the sander had gone to tool heaven. 220 grit for final sanding is still a bit aggressive.
