It will sand right down into the corners. Works well and is easy to use, decent price. Of course, integrated nicely with the dust extractor. It's more powerful and solid feeling than I'd expected. Even the ones recommended to purchase with it don't properly fit.

The BLACK+DECKER BDERO100 was really our preferred BLACK+DECKER Sanders. That doesn't mean there aren't several other really great alternatives when it comes to BLACK+DECKER Sanders. We have a breakdown of them here.

BLACK+DECKER is another leading producer of Sanders. They build the tool next up on our rundown. BLACK+DECKER's Detail Sanders are also top quality. I was excited to have a go at the model BDEMS600 and I was not let down!

When I stop pressing down, the sander turns off. I am sure it would be fine for the average man. I wouldn't buy this again, but it works fine. I also liked the extra sandpaper that was included. The suction fan on this sander does all of the work.

Turn it upside down and put it in between two 2 by 4's. But at the end of the day I'd take a good look at the BLACK+DECKER. Makes me wonder why all belt sanders aren't made similarly. I have sanded approx 600 sq feet of hardwood floors with this. I recently used it to sand rough cut 2x4 and 2x6 pine.

Honorable Mentions

If you are thinking that the BLACK+DECKER Sanders we rated above fail to meet your needs, here are a handful of additional selections that might better match your needs. It's a fact that there are a number of excellent options out there to pick from. With thorough study and testing, the choices mentioned above are our preferred Sanders. That doesn't mean there aren't several more fantastic BLACK+DECKER Sanders.

Sometimes I have to lightly tap it, and it will start right up. We have an arbor that needed to be sanded, primed and painted. Works great on old furniture I am trying to restore! I'll press the on button and nothing will happen. This BLACK+DECKER sander is very aggressive and extremely powerful.

I realize it's called a palm sander but it feels awkward. Seems to be made for small tight spaces only. I have an orbital sander but I need this this one for small areas. Use a file if desired to smooth the edges on both surfaces. Even the ones recommended to purchase with it don't properly fit.

It is powerful and I like that it has variable speeds. The Sander looked like it was used for a huge project. It does not hold a ton but that's OK--it's a small sander. It could just be that some bolts are lose, but I'm not sure. I don't need to plug into my garage and work upstairs.

Not cheap, but much better than the pain. Granted, if you need the full power, it will consume air. Great super and great price Just what I needed. As for its sanding capability, it sands quite fast. I was seriously shocked how quiet this machine was.

I've had no problem with the sandpaper staying put. I am sure it would be fine for the average man. It arrived on time and was packaged well. Sandpaper loading is very well designed. The suction fan on this sander does all of the work.

Thought I would give this 1/3rd sheet sander a try. It's a decent quality tool for a great price. Covers a large area fast, dust collection pretty good. I also liked the extra sandpaper that was included. Such a daunting task to sand it down by hand.
