I bought this and the Grizzly 9 inch band saw. It's a nice sander for the small shop. I removed the link to help reduce confusion. Great customer service from Grizzly. Had to go out and purchase a 30 MM and a 1 1/4 wrench.

The Grizzly H6070 was really our number one Grizzly Sanders. That being said, there were a few other very high quality Grizzly Sanders worth showcasing here that only just fell short.

Grizzly is an additional leading producer of Sanders. They produce the tool next on our lineup. Grizzly's Spindle Sanders are great as well. It was fantastic to try the G0538. I was very satisfied using this tool!

The model G0538 Spindle Sander by Grizzly, at $173.95 is a particularly excellent Sander for the money. If you uncertain about our number one choice, I'd look into the Grizzly G0538 next. It's a first class tool at a great price.

3. Grizzly H8192 Disc & Belt Sander

The motor is slightly overkill, but I like that. 20 minutes to clean the packing grease off the tables. But the sander is cheap, so I didn't expect much. I'm very satisfied with the way this Grizzly sander runs. This table too has no positive stops for 90 degree adjustment.

It arrived in 3 days, well packed and in perfect condition. Thanks Grizzly Just as advertised, a little bigger than I imagined. I think this is a great grinder for the new knife maker. It's heavy and heavy duty and has plenty of power for me. The tables are nice and large being made from cast iron.

6. Grizzly G9985 Edge Sander

  • (11 Points)

The base is easily assembled by one man, but the top is pretty heavy. I generate a great deal of dust with this item. It is my first edge sander for sanding doors/ short drawer boxes. It seems like an excellent little sander for what it does. When I upgraded to a better t/s I used my 1st/old one as a disk sander.

It was boxed up like Fort Knox, not a scratch or dent anywhere. The wheel does not have any wobble to it and is very flat. Installing the break was simple and stopped the unit in a matter of a few seconds. The power switch also has a tab lock that works fine. Our worse, the wood doesn't but up flush to another piece.

I haven't checked the wheel for trueness, but its good enough for my uses. I bought this to take to work as the one there is available to any. If I blow it it's impossible to remove just one room and have it perfect. I lost my first one to Sandy and had to have another. I'm very impressed with this little machine.

I straightened the guard and taped cracked box. Glad I made the purchase and will recommend to others. I was surprised it held up as long as it did for the price. Two improvements could be made to the machine. I use it for all sorts of edge sanding needs.
