Top 2 Best X-BULL Saws

What Real People Are Saying About The X-BULL 58cc 20"

I am pleased

So got the chainsaw today. I was skeptical as to what the quality would be since it is Chinese and was so inexpensive. The quality out of the box was as good as a 500$ saw. Used the best gas I could. 25:1 mix with quality oil. Couple pulls and she fired right up. IMPORTANT! You should brake any engine in. I ran at idle for about 5 minutes. Then 1/2 speed for 1 minute, idle for a minute then back to 1/2 speed for one minute. Then I let her rip for 30 seconds full speed, idled a minute and repeated a couple more times. 62 cc where screaming. Hit a couple 2’ logs. The thing is a beast. I really hope this stands up long term. For $150 bucks this really could be a steal. A husky = is 500.
DO NOT USE CHEAP GAS IN ANY SMALL ENGINE!!!!! Good luck hope this helps. Oh and shipping was quick, less then a week.

Up date: used all weekend and even more impressed. Again this is a solid chainsaw. When starting you can feel the compression and once warm, about a 1/2 of pull fires it right up. I had no problems pulling it but an average home owner might. This was just what I need and highly recommend for folks cutting a lot of fire wood or land scapers or tree guys. It might be over kill if your not chainsaw familiar. This is a very good saw. But it’s big and powerful. Which is good for me. But mom and pop cleaning up the yard should know this saw is definitely not on the low end for first timers. Great saw.

First Class Saw

Easy to put together, starts up first time and cuts extremely well. Besides the safety lock missing its a first class saw and a bargain.
Update: took down some very tall pines with decent size cherry trees. Not once did the XB give any problems. I really dont think you can go wrong buying this chain saw even for the tougest jobs.

Good Saw for the Price

To start with, overall I'd say you can't beat the power for the price - that's what I was paying for. It cuts like a champ. Another plus is it doesn't leak bar oil while resting, and the air filter is easy to access and clean. The housing unit, throttle lock, choke, and stop switch are on the cheaper side, and there's no primer nub, but I'm not expecting to beat it up too much doing yard work and it did start just fine without a primer. The drive link number seems to be more on the rare side for the chains, and I can't buy a 5.12oz oil container to make a quick gallon for 25:1 fuel, but that's not such a big deal if you know how to measure. The only thing I don't particularly like about it is that when starting it you have to have the throttle locked which means the chain spins right from the get-go. I'd prefer the safety of not having the chain spin immediately, and the convenience of not having to set it down to start, but again, the bang for the buck is a good deal. Engine size, rpm, functionality and and price overrule housing materials and starting style.

Works Great !

I got this saw before the china trade wars so I got it for 140$ I tell you what for that price I should have bought 3 of them. I always use STIHL saws for my wood cutting. I burn wood for house. My Stihl was acting up and they wanted over 150$ to just replace carb and labor/ tune up. I bought this saw and it cuts great. About the same power as my STHIL MS 270. It does feel a bit chinsy as far as some of the plastic components but it runs great. I like the 25:1 fuel/oil mix too. I think it will last longer.

Runs good

Bought this chainsaw to try out and see how well it would perform. A little tough to put together but managed. Filled up with fuel and the fuel ran straight out of the tank and out of the bottom of the saw. Haven't got around to taking it apart to see what the problem is. It did fire up easily but needs attention for the fuel leakage.
