You can do this on your own no problems. The fence was right on so was the bevel. I find the quality of the saw impeccable. Easy assembly, works exactly as expected. Loud and dusty, sure, but that is expected.

The customer support at SKILSAW was great. Granted I had a SKILSAW 744 before so not a fair comparison. It is however, very practical for a small shop like mine. It does not have a dust problem. Miter Gauge - The miter gauge is an absolute joke.

Had a 15% off sale on Makita so I got this thing. It's durable plastic, but still plastic. Has always been square to the blade. Packaging was immaculate and intelligently designed. The stand is sturdy and folds easily.
