"It's on top."It has a good torque and does an excellent job. Nice alternative to other Ratchet Wrenchs. Let me tell you, there is nothing to fear with this one. The Campbell Hausfeld PL1501 is a good value for the money. I like my Campbell Hausfeld PL1501 better than my old Ratchet Wrench.
