I love this sander. Dust collection is moderate, but not quite as good as my 20 year old Black and Decker ROS. But, unless you're sanding drywall, DC is adequate. On the whole, I really enjoy using this sander and I expect that I'll be using it for years to come.

I used this to grind down concrete countertops for an outdoor kitchen. This was not an easy undertaking. The 8,000 PSI countertop mix is pretty much hard as nails and I spent hours with each grit to get it down to the layer I wanted. After days of wet grinding, this little sander was still kicking. That was the reason I went with a Dewalt. I knew it would take the abuse. After the 3rd day of continuous grinding I started to wonder if it would give out, but it gave no signs of letting up. I used it long enough for most of the little hooks on the bottom of the pad to break off. But that was the only thing that wore out the whole time. I have been slowly switching my tools over to Dewalt and after seeing what this thing was capable of, I am a happy customer.
