Because it is so smooth, it is more controllable. This is a tough saw, I use it almost on a daily basis. Light years ahead of my old Tile & Masonry Saw! The power of this Tile & Masonry Saw far surpasses my Milwaukee. This is a tough saw, I use it almost on a daily basis.

"Fantastic saw."

At times, I felt like I was holding a machine gun! This one is the most powerful tools I have ever used. It is pretty powerful. No issues at all and the tool never slowed down. I am so glad that I didn't buy from another brand.
