First Impressions

"Hobart a bit pricier."

I'm running on a 15 amp circuit with 50 ft extension cord and have had no problems. When I first opened it I got hit with that new welder smell, so good. I received it yesterday and actually welded with it today. As a hobby welder, this was perfect for me. Does make a nice puddle and slags reasonably well.

"Happy Welding!"

Very easy to find proper welding temp. Still worth it though if you don’t mind spending 2 hours putting it together. Hobart has produced a Arc Welder which to my mind has met all of my needs. I'm decent at the welding part, the rod feeding part was holding me back. I always wonder if I could weld anything and it worked.
