"The variable speed is great!"It more than payed for itself the first time I used it. I've been extremely happy with it. I chose this for a shou sugi ban project after trying to hand wire brush. It makes quick work of wire brushing boards or creating a brushed texture on metal. The only criticism I've heard from other folks about this is that it's under-powered.
