First Impressions

"I love this little machine."

The motor is slightly overkill, but I like that. 20 minutes to clean the packing grease off the tables. I think this is a great grinder for the new knife maker. The fit and weight of this machine are excellent. Very little vibration and it's not really loud.

POWERTEC BD1030 Final Thoughts

"Belt change is simple."

There are just two mounting holes in the base of the sander. It runs smooth and the fit and finish is very good. For an around the shop grinder for a hobbyist metal worker. I am very pleased with the performance of this sander. I plugged in my shop vac to the port which fit nicely.
