"Very high quality."

We had one of these before and wore it out. I'm sure by following mfg instructions, this unit will last years. Surprisingly, some other manufacturers charge more. Contacted PORTER-CABLE and without hesitation Nicole and Natalie were amazing. Used for very light duty in my garage, no problems.

"Instructions aren’t clear."

Draining it is not as fun as some others, with the up front drain valve. If you decide on this for your next compressor, I think you will be very pleased. So far the noise level is less - I would not call the replacement low noise by any means. Very impressed with fit and finish. Wiring into the switch is easy with a #2 Phillips head screwdriver.
